TESTIMONIES

Joël Fresneau - Pavillon 2000 - Marsac sur Don - Loire Atlantique

Joël Fresneau - Pavillon 2000 - Marsac sur le Don - 44

The right solution for everyday work.
Nowadays, with the double telescopic conveyor, it takes about an hour and a half to pour a 120 m2 slab for a detached house. Without the conveyor belt, it used to take us 3 labourers and twice as much time. It is even more profitable for a slab for a floor above ground level because, in addition, you make savings by not using a hoisting machine.

Livraison par Tapis Convoyeurs pour le dallage d'un pavillonFor over 20 years now, Pavillon 2000's team, run by Joël Fresneau, has been using delivery via conveyor belts on a priority basis for the slabs and foundations for the 90 private homes that they build every year, as well as for the slabs and foundations of the agricultural buildings constituting the company's other line of business.

"Work that is less difficult: as a matter of priority, I use the telescopic unit: it enables direct placement over the slab's whole surface, right at my workmen's feet. "

Always fulfilling customers’ requirements. Whether what is involved is the construction of an extension on an enclosed block of land, or, as is the case here, carrying out renovation work right in the heart of the hamlet, the telescopic conveyor belt is just about the only thing that allows you to efficiently manage worksites that are so tricky to gain access to – apart from the wheelbarrow of course !

Livraison par Tapis TélescopiqueThe Miquelezes run a family operation, with the two sons having joined their father's team! "A few years ago, we were frequently confronted with almost solvable problems when working at this type of worksite: often, the choice adopted was to bring a mixing truck into the enclosure!"

However, at this sort of worksite, isn’t ready-mixed concrete the most suitable solution?

“Yes, but then we lose hours on handling operations! Whenever possible, currently I get a telescopic conveyor belt unit delivered, that solves 80% of my laying”.

“The real solution: when you add up the figures, at somewhat complicated worksites, there’s a huge difference! The extra cost on delivery amounts to less than half of all extra time, fatigue and materials involved otherwise.”

A few examples at this worksite : « You can clearly see here how the telescopic arm enables precise placement, overcoming obstacles such as existing walls and bridging them. As for our lads, they work directly alongside the head of the conveyor, ensuring full efficiency straight away.”

Theam - Livraison par Tapis Télescopique"There are seven of us in total, and renovation work now constitutes nearly half of our business, around Vannes." Both father and son agree: nowadays, they would no longer even consider working at such sites without being able to deliver concrete using a telescopic arm! "We lay units on floors above ground level by passing through existing openings, whether they are large or small: with a good team up in the building, it takes less than an hour for each 50m2 slab, whilst at the same time ensuring all the corners are done properly, providing 100% efficiency!" In various spaces separated by old walls, the conveyor belt is deployed and then the head is dropped in alongside the workman in the blink of an eye, providing 100% flexibility as well!

To conclude: when you are a real renovation pro, one conlusion stands out: only delivery using a telescopic onboard concrete conveyor belt enables management of both time and profitability. In addition to which, the team works more efficiently and gets less tired.

Dominique Auguin - Site Foreman - La Roche-sur-Yon (Vendée)

Particularly indispensable for the base slab! Dominique Auguin and his team stress the superiority of the onboard concrete conveyor belt over all other techniques for pouring a slab. Due to the slope, you need to use high-viscosity ready-mixed concrete, which holds fast right from the time it is laid – it is practically impossible using a pump, they say…

Theam - Livraison par Tapis TélescopiqueHubert Tremblais created his company nearly 10 years ago. With his team of 14 people, they build 50 swimming pools every year. On that particular day, it was Dominique Auguin who supervised the four workmen at the site. The slab had been poured beforehand, and we were now up to pouring the sides, which were of course shuttered. Even though in this case the narrow access meant we had to move the truck, with the telescopic unit, we were able to pour the whole lot in less than an hour and a half, which leant only the masonry finishing work remained to be done.

To conclude: THERE IS NO COMPARISON ! When you are obliged to stop using an onboard concrete conveyor belt, it is a real hassle - it takes 4 times longer and 5 to 6 people instead of 3 or 4 .
